About Godolphin Family
NOTE THIS IS A FICTIONAL FAMILY TREE SPECIFICALLY CREATED FOR RENAISSANCE KINGDOMS RPG

Welcome to the Family of the Godolphins

The Godolphins were a big Tin and Copper mining family in the surrounding areas of Redruth in Cornwall, set up by Robert Godolphin after a chance discovery of Copper.

Within months he was rich enough to start his own mining business, which got them noticed by a rival family known as the Warleggans, he also built a fine house called Godolphin House, which would be the family home for the next 3 generations.

For three generations through Robert to his son John, to his son Ross and finally to his son Charles, the family business thrived. It was until the Warleggans saw a chance to merge with the Godolphins on the back of the marriage between the daughter of George Warleggan, Nancy, and Ross Godolphin that saw the demise of the Godolphin mining business. With the two companies merged as Godolphin & Warleggan everything continued as normal, but unbeknownst to Ross and Nancy lawyers had failed to check the small print in regards to the paperwork involved with the merger.
None of this would come to light until upon the death of Charles Godolphin son of Ross and Nancy, instead of the Godolphin side of the business being inherited to Ross Godolphin son of Charles, the whole business, all the assets including property would automatically go to the Warleggans.

Therefore this was the final demise of the Godolphin family in Cornwall and Mining, this would see the family go off into various ventures, initially Ross and his brother Stephen remained in the Mining industry, but there children would seek ventures new.

Cornish Godolphin, Son of Ross Godolphin, left Cornwall for Salisbury eventually finding his distant relatives and setting up home and a new life for himself there Sirkeith Godolphin is the son of Ben Godolphin and Grandson of Stephen Godolphin, Ben Godolphin left Cornwall to get to plymouth to join the Royal English Navy, his son sirkeith is still in Plymouth
Lady_Bunny, Kendor, Melaure and Bboysmoke are all the children of Daniel Woodard, who in turn is the son of Jane Godolphin and brother of Ross and Stephen Godolphin, she left Cornwall upon a chance meeting with Richard Woodard a Staffordshire Guard.

Other branches are the De Hammers, descended from Lucy Godolphin, daughter of Robert Godolphin. They are an old Saxon family of Blacksmiths, currently headed up by Oariana Seldon nee De Hammer
